Feeling Sluggish

Something is just not right. Despite getting 7-8 hours of sleep each night for the past 3 nights (interrupted sleep though), I still feel lethargic and sleepy all the time. I’m surprised this is happening because I seldom feel this way, though I only get between 5-6 hours of sleep (also interrupted) each night. This must be my hormones playing tricks on me or perhaps caused by the stiff shoulders and neck that I got 2 nights ago. All I feel like doing now is to go to slumberland right until tomorrow morning and only write about the low cost car insurance post tomorrow.

I think all the stress of CNY and having to manage 3 kids have caught up to u! Let hubby have them for a few hours(is he man enough to do this???) and u go off for a relaxing time without any interruption, and remember to turn off the cellphone! Take it from me…I have learned from my mistake of doing too much with the kids and ard. the house! And, yes, my hubs is definitely not man enuf to handle the kids and the house!

Chris…. my hubs is def. not man enuf to handle the kids and the house. If I ask him to look after the kids, he will just watch TV and delegate everything to the maid!

OH GOD, I think they were both flunkers from the husband school! Learn from me, make time for yourself. He has to learn to look after his own kids…and do not let him use the term “babysit”. It is NOT that..it is being a dad and participating in bringing up the kids. He should see u are overwhelmed…take off for the aft. and let him be a dad. When my kids were younger, and I had to work weekends..I soon realized he couldn’t be “looking after the kids” and do laundry ie putting laundry into the washing machine and then the dryer. Only one job at a time!!

no wonder u’re a supermom! respect! i’m glad that my hubby can take over the girls although i need to close one eye as he doesn’t stick to a routine or schedule (you know men-la). with rye li, i’ve learnt to let go la but with haye li, i have to nag and remind him (also, thank goodness for the maid to be the 2nd reminder). but with my maid leaving soon, i think i also have to close both eyes when i want my ‘me’ time.

baby c still wakes up at nights huh? my sleep has been interrupted ever since rye li came along till now. at times i feel my head never had any rest for years!

Syn Nee… I still wake up to change Baby’s diaper. Knowing that Baby’s down under has to be super clean all the time. For the past few days, I’ve been waking up at 4am to bring her to the toilet to pee. After her recent UTI attack, I don’t want to take anymore chances. Coz Baby can hold her urine in her bladder for more than 10 hours and only pee at 8am the next morning. The longer the urine stays in her bladder, the higher chance of her getting another UTI.

  6. I really salute you. I’m too lazy to toilet train Amber at night.. I’d rather diaper her up and get proper sleep. I feel really tired this CNY too and a few days before the New Year, my arms ached like mad from scrubbing and cleaning, I needed paracetamol to get some proper sleep but I do find taking apple cider vinegar early in the morning charges me up.

You know what? I’ve not been sleeping for 3 years every since I was preggie with my 1st girl. Yah, and I mean sleeping-through-and-soundly. Nop. Now with a toddler and a baby on hand, they take turns to wake me up. Baby jolted from sleep needing her paci, toddler waking up from bad dream, need mummy, need to pee. But I am used to this. I get an average of 6 – 8 hours sleep every night. But I know it will all soon be over. Cherish them while they are still young. =)
