For over a decade, the hubs has been telling me every now and then how determined he would be to shed some weight. Each time he announces confidently that he will be going on a low-carb diet and tells me that he will hit the gym or swimming pool intensively, I just knew that he would give up half way through. I think the only way to motivate him to be steadfast in his weight-loss journey is something that rewards him monetarily. One time, he even took some diet pills for men and that of course did not bring any desired result. Perhaps I should ask him to partake in the next Biggest Loser of Asia reality show!

We did Biggest Loser at work under supervision of a dietitian. She shuns pills..more into eating healthy and portion control. I know, easier said than done. No, didn’t win, but it was fun as everybody participated, and the winner won CAD350! I have tried the St Joseph Hosp diet..I was only able to follow abt 75% of it but lost 4lbs in 4 days. Gained 2 lbs back the following week! Dietitian didn’t like the diet but it worked somewhat for me. If anyone is interested, let me know. It is to be done for only 4 days, and no more.
