The hubs got himself a new Blackberry recently and has been playing with his new toy everyday! I am very, very tempted to get myself an iPhone or a Blackberry too so that I can check my emails and surf the internet on the go. My existing cell phone is starting to act up and I think it will konk out very soon. But I have to read up on some cell phone reviews before I decide on the cell phone that suits my lifestyle the best.

Leaking Urine?
I have been potty training Baby for the past 1 week and I realized a little problem. While Baby does not wee wee ‘in full’ in her panties, I find that her panties will be slightly wet every half hourly. I suspect that she is leaking urine and she is not even aware of it. I really can’t recall if my #1 and #2 were like this last time. I had read from somewhere that kids with a history of Kidney Reflux will have a problem with potty training. And I recall Baby’s surgeon asking us if Baby’s diaper is wet all the time as he has a patient with Kidney Reflux who wets her panties all the time too. I must ask Baby’s surgeon if this is a problem when we next see him.
Sick Kitten
Rascal #2 always has problems with her digestive system and tummy. From young, she is a very constipated child. She throws up very easily too when she was an infant right up to 3 years old. At one time, she would puke at 12 midnight every other night. I thought it was really spooky and jinx! But she outgrew this problem when she was about 3.5 years old, after Baby C was born.
The other day, she complained that her tummy was painful. I thought it was just one of her excuses when it came to drinking milk or eating dinner. It was on a Sunday and we were rushing to go to church. After about 2 hours lying on the couch, she threw up. We brought her to the doctor’s when her temperature shot up to 38 degrees Celsius. She was also given the enema as she could not poo poo for 2 days.
For the rest of the day, she was very weak. She threw up each time she ate or drank anything, including plain water. She was so weak that she complained that her legs hurt and she almost fell when she came off the adult potty in the bathroom. That was the 2nd time this year that she had this problem. I suspect that there’s a lot of wind in her tummy.
My sick kitten lying listlessly on the couch. She hardly ever feels weak or tired as she is always bursting with energy.
The following day, she rested at home and skipped school. I did not feed her with the meds that the doctor prescribed and she recovered on her own.
Safe Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is a very pleasant place to live in. Just last week, security cameras and guards are placed at every road junction throughout the neighborhood. This is in addition to the guards on patrol already in place. Now, I feel safer when I jog round the neighborhood every morning, without the fear of being mugged. However, residents would have to pay RM80 for the security fees. Thankfully we live in a condo and don’t have to pay the security fees.
Had To Let Go
Several days ago, I received an offer to write a 200-word adv that is priced at USD25. I jumped at the opportunity but the problem is I just didn’t know what to write as the topic totally didn’t relate to me. It was on a topic very foreign to me, just like topics on steel buildings and machinery. The offer had expired but it is still available! I am so tempted to accept the offer again but I would have to spend hours to crack my head and hope for a brainwave!
