A young female office worker fell onto the tracks from an after-office hour sardine-packed commuter train. Another oncoming train was just minutes away behind the young lady and she lay unconscious on the tracks, bleeding profusely on her head. A stranger saw the lady and without thinking of his own safety jumped down from the moving train to save the lady. Though he was slightly injured in the jump, he summoned all his courage and strength to pull the lady away from the tracks. When the lady was conscious, she and her fiancé thanked the stranger profusely for unselfishly saving her life. If not for him, her family would probably have to engage a FELA Railroad Injury and Train Accident Lawyer. This real-life story that I read from my favorite magazine this morning has touched me.
