Of all the finger food that I had given to Baby C, she loves Japanese cucumbers best. I am glad she prefers greens over biscuits and other sweet stuff.
To stop her from struggling during our daily antibiotics-feeding battle, she will be given a small wedge of cool cucumber to hold and to munch on.
Baby C enjoying her cool cucumber on the couch. Notice baby holding with her left hand? I notice she always holds things with her left hand. Even the spiral on her head is on the left side. Does that mean that she will be a leftie? Anyone knows?
Our daily antibiotics-feeding battle… with Baby C holding tight to a wedge of cool cucumber.
oh baby C looks so cute with the hairclip on her head. does she do other things with her right hand? ashley does a lot of thing with her left hands but draws with her right. so i’m not sure if she’s a rightie or leftie 😀
aiyoo..SO CUTE! What a great idea..giving a cucumber. But then, with teeth still can meh? I scared my lil fler bite off some bits and choke.
Not sure abt the leftie thing..but my first 2 are lefties. They do prefer to hold things and draw with their left hands. No.3 also looking like he’s doing the same..but then again, have to wait a bit more to see if he REALLY is a leftie or not.
Hand dominance is not established till age 5 or so. So, let her use whichever hand she chooses. All the better if she becomes ambidextrous! At this point in her young life it’s more important she works on eye-hand-mouth coordination and the concept of sitting down(quietly…) to participate in a meal with the family.
Thank god those days of “lefties” being treated like “devil children” are gone!
Baby C is soo cute in the 2nd pix! Hey we just noticed that Brandon uses his left hand more than his right. VT did some reearch and it’s because the right side of the brain (which countrols the left side of the body), develops quicker than the right side 🙂
