My dad will celebrate his birthday this month. My mum and dad will be making a trip down to KL to celebrate this joyous occasion with their 3 beloved grand daughters. My brother and sil from Singapore will also be here to celebrate dad’s birthday. As usual we will be throwing him a birthday lunch or dinner at a fanciful restaurant. We had a fabulous birthday do at a seafood restaurant, followed by a karaoke session last year. I am running out of ideas for a suitable gift for my dad. What should I give him? Maybe I’ll just google search for suitable birthday gifts for dad and find something that he will like.
My 2 cents worth here…if dad has all he really needs(another Tshirt? Tie? Socks?) , I’d suggest the 3 little ones make him a personalised card, and they can all go to the MYR5 store (the one in Bandar Utama was my absolute fave when I was in KL!) and each pick something which in their mind he needs. Of course they can help wrap, decorate the gift etc. Then, the “real” gift would be a charitable donation. If there is a cause your parents support, then u know what to do. I have started making donations instead of buying gifts for Xmas etc esp. for the adults.
